Semi-detached single-family house located in the Urbanization Las Buganvillas, in Cala de Mijas, Malaga. Second residence for a family in the interior of the province of Malaga.
The structure of the house consists of two minimum units joined together. One unit is destined to entrance, kitchen-dining room and living room and the other unit is a complete bathroom with shower, and a large bedroom en suite with sofa area, reading area, or for extra beds.
It has a large terrace on two levels with unobstructed sea views. A glass balustrade is projected to give modernity to the house with translucent glass to give some privacy, but without losing the views.
In the interior, a floating floor in a natural, light oak tone, from Quick Step, in its impressive series, is installed throughout the house, except for the bathroom. The walls and ceilings are white. The lighting is projected with recessed spotlights in the ceiling and a decorative cornice in the L-shaped front of the kitchen, with indirect LED lighting.
In the bathroom, white, rectified, medium-sized Kerabén tiles have been chosen to give spaciousness and luminosity to the bathroom, which also has a window. The floor and the covering in the shower niche in hexagonal stoneware tiles in turquoise and camel, from the Hisbalit brand, add a touch of colour and cheerfulness.
The bathroom layout complies with the needs resolution, a large shower with rain shower and a good sliding screen from Duscholux was sought. The washbasin unit hides the washing machine, located at the entrance, and the worktop adapts the shape to it. The washbasins are designed as countertop washbasins, to give a more sophisticated touch.
A wall-hung toilet, hygienic shower and a large mirror with anti-fogging and LED lighting complete the spacious bathroom.
In the bedroom, a Japanese-inspired turquoise wallpaper with bougainvillea and white flowers has been chosen. The white textiles insist on the concept of luminosity and clarity sought in this house.
The kitchen, in white furniture without handles, with a wood-effect neolith worktop, and the taps and sink in white, like the glossy metro-style tiles, bring freshness to this kitchen, and a cozy effect.
The white lacquered aluminium double sliding doors provide ample views of the sea. The rest of the decoration responds to the feeling of comfort that the clients were looking for, with lamps suspended in fibres, and other details of the style.
